Credit cards are revolving lines of credit products. The Bank will assess each application to calculate the credit risk score for the prospective client. Where the credit risk score falls within our Bank’s risk appetite, then the prospective client becomes eligible to receive a credit card.
Yes. With a debit card, you utilize the funds held within your deposit account. With a credit card the Bank extends a revolving line of credit to you as a separate facility.
Yes. The Bank will assess each application received and assess the prospective customer’s eligibility based on their capacity to repay the outstanding balances on the credit card.
You are required to provide:
Prospective customers must complete the application form and submit to the nearest Retail Banking Unit along with the necessary supporting documentation. Successful applicants will be notified when and where to collect their credit card.
Yes. If payment to the outstanding balance is received after the billing cycle date of the 15th monthly or not received at all, a late fee is applied. If an amount less than the minimum amount due is paid, a late fee is applied.

Credit cards are available for collection at the Retail Banking Unit within one week of the applicant receiving approval.
Yes. You can request a status update from the credit officer who will then track the application and advise you accordingly.
You are encouraged to register with the Caribbean Credit Card Corporation (4Cs) to activate and PIN your new credit card. Once your card is activated, you can begin using it immediately. You will also be able to use the 4Cs portal to manage your account and view monthly statements. Follow the steps below to register:

Yes. Typically credit cards will be restricted from use within countries where sanctions have been imposed by the United States Government, the United Nations, and any other jurisdictions indicated by Visa.
Yes. Clients will be charged Foreign Exchange related fees on cards denominated in Eastern Caribbean dollars for transactions completed with merchants domiciled overseas, whether those transactions are completed in-person or over the Internet.
Yes. When the credit card is used to withdraw cash, interest is applied to those transactions from the date of withdrawal.
Yes. You can add other parties to your credit card account as secondary cardholders.
No, there is no limit, however, each additional card added to your credit card account will incur the relevant fees and charges.
Yes. All our credit cards earn rewards under the Visa My Rewards programme. You will receive one point for every US $1 (or EC equivalent) spent using your credit card. The more you spend the more points you accumulate to redeem for travel, cruises, hotel stays, car rentals or to make online purchases. To begin, visit the Visa My Rewards website or download the My Rewards by Visa Loyalty app.
Visa My Rewards points are valid for three years from date of issue. Unused points will be automatically deleted.
Rewards can be redeemed through the Visa My Rewards website or app. Your digital Visa card stores your accumulated reward points and is used to convert the points into spending value in the same way a debit card or credit card is used for purchases.
Yes. Visa My Reward points are valid for three years from the date of issue. Additionally, if your credit card is delinquent, you will be automatically restricted from accessing or redeeming your accumulated reward points.
