Grenada Co-operative Bank Limited is the proud recipient of the prestigious ECCU Bank of the Year Award for Customer Service in 2024. Organized by the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB), the Bank of the Year awards recognize commercial banks that have made significant contributions to the overall development of the people they serve.
Co-op Bank was among eleven (11) commercial banks throughout the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU) adjudged for this year’s awards in different categories. In the Customer Service category, Co-op Bank was shortlisted along with two other commercial banks, CIBC Antigua and National Bank of Dominica Ltd.
Ms. Vilette Benjamin, Head Judge at the ECCB, remarked that the bank receiving the Customer Service award demonstrated “highly personalized commercial and retail banking products and services, supports and promotes client relationships and gives commendable priority to staff development.”
Mr. Larry Lawrence, Managing Director of Co-op Bank, accepted the award at the 26th Sir Arthur Lewis Memorial Lecture at the ECCB Headquarters in St. Kitts on Wednesday November 13, 2024.
Co-op Bank was also shortlisted in the categories of Corporate Social Responsibility and Support for Micro, Small & Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs).
